Currently I have no financial business related involvement with the Trust/School. I have been a teacher for fourteen years, twelve of those at Babington Academy in Leicester. After beginning my working life as a journalist, I entered education with the principal hope of improving the scholastic achievement of young people. I have watched Babington grow enormously during the last decade and I have hopefully played a small part in the school’s considerable success. As an English teacher, I have had the privilege of working with many fantastic colleagues, but the ultimate honour has been helping our students progress, sometimes way beyond expectations.
Away from school, three things dominate my life: family, friends and football. I also enjoy travelling and class myself as a cultured film buff and highly knowledgeable music fan!
